* Stachys requires normal care, it can grow in any soil (without over-watering). It will show all its splendor in a spacious sunny place. It is winter-hardy, it is watered moderately, under the root, since its leaves are pubescent, velvety. If stachys is grown only to create a bright border, then the emerging flower stalks should be removed. If you want to see flowering, then an open place is desirable. At the end of flowering, do not forget to cut the flower stalks as low as possible and remove some of the lower large leaves so that the plant can quickly acquire a lush appearance. Do not wait for the seeds to appear (if the plant is in a visible place, this will be especially noticeable), as this will negatively affect the appearance of the lower part of the plant.
Stachys has another good feature: its pleasant to the touch leaves have an equally pleasant smell, similar to the aroma of wild strawberries.
